At Wusoq, we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy explains how customers and service providers can cancel requests, offers, or agreed services on the Wusoq platform.

Wusoq is a marketplace that connects customers with independent service providers and experts. Cancellation conditions may therefore depend on the stage of the service and the agreement between the customer and service provider.

1. Customer Cancellation

A customer may request cancellation of a task before the service provider has started the work.

Customers should communicate their cancellation request as soon as possible through the Wusoq platform.

If work has already started, cancellation may be subject to the amount of work already completed and any costs reasonably incurred by the service provider.

2. Cancellation Before an Offer Is Accepted

If a customer has posted a task but has not yet accepted an offer, the customer may generally cancel or close the request.

Since no service provider has been formally selected through the offer-acceptance process, cancellation at this stage should normally not create an obligation to complete the task.

3. Cancellation After an Offer Is Accepted

Once a customer accepts a service provider’s offer, the request moves into the agreed service process.

At this stage, customers should not cancel without first communicating with the selected service provider.

If the service provider has already started work, the customer may not be entitled to a full refund for any payment or amount associated with work already performed.

4. Cancellation After Work Has Started

If work has already started, cancellation will be considered based on:

  • The work already completed;
  • The agreed scope of the service;
  • Any materials or resources already used;
  • The reason for cancellation;
  • Communication between the customer and service provider.

Depending on the circumstances, the parties may agree to a partial completion, partial payment, revised delivery, or other appropriate resolution.

5. Service Provider Cancellation

A service provider may need to cancel a task because of circumstances such as:

  • Unavailability;
  • Emergency;
  • Lack of required information;
  • Inability to complete the agreed work;
  • Customer requirements changing substantially.

Service providers should notify the customer as soon as reasonably possible.

Repeated cancellations without reasonable cause may result in account review or other action by Wusoq.

6. Mutual Cancellation

Customers and service providers are encouraged to communicate and agree on a cancellation when both parties determine that the service can no longer proceed.

Where appropriate, Wusoq may assist in resolving the cancellation.

7. Cancellation of Completed Tasks

Once a service provider has completed the agreed work and the customer has confirmed completion, the task will generally be considered completed.

A completed task cannot normally be cancelled simply because the customer has changed their mind.

Any subsequent complaint or refund request will be reviewed separately under the applicable Refund Policy.

8. Digital Services

For digital services, cancellation may become more difficult once work has started because the service provider may have already created:

  • Websites;
  • Designs;
  • Written content;
  • Graphics;
  • Marketing materials;
  • Software;
  • Documents;
  • Videos;
  • Other digital deliverables.

Customers should clearly communicate their requirements before accepting an offer.

9. Physical Services

For physical services, cancellation may depend on whether the service provider has already travelled to the customer’s location, purchased materials, started work, or completed part of the service.

Customers should notify the service provider as early as possible if they need to cancel.

10. No-Show or Lack of Customer Cooperation

A service provider may consider a task cancelled or unable to proceed if the customer repeatedly:

  • Fails to respond;
  • Does not provide required information;
  • Does not provide necessary access;
  • Is unavailable at the agreed time;
  • Prevents the service provider from performing the agreed work.

The service provider should make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer before considering the task unable to proceed.

11. No-Show by Service Provider

If a service provider fails to appear or repeatedly fails to respond without reasonable explanation, the customer should document the issue and contact Wusoq where appropriate.

Wusoq may review the situation and take action based on the available information.

12. Refunds Following Cancellation

Cancellation does not automatically guarantee a refund.

If a payment system is available on Wusoq, refund eligibility will depend on:

  • Whether work has started;
  • Whether any work has been completed;
  • The reason for cancellation;
  • The agreed service terms;
  • Any applicable payment-provider rules.

For further information, please refer to the Refund Policy.

13. Cancellation Due to Disputes

If a disagreement occurs between a customer and service provider, both parties should first attempt to resolve the issue through Wusoq’s messaging system.

Relevant information may include:

  • Request details;
  • Offer details;
  • Messages;
  • Files exchanged;
  • Work delivered;
  • Screenshots or other evidence.

Wusoq may review the information when appropriate.

14. Wusoq’s Right to Cancel or Restrict Services

Wusoq may cancel, suspend, restrict, or remove a request, listing, account, or service where necessary because of:

  • Fraudulent activity;
  • Abuse of the platform;
  • Violation of Wusoq’s policies;
  • Illegal activity;
  • Misleading information;
  • Security concerns;
  • Other serious violations of the platform’s Terms and Conditions.

15. Third-Party Payment Providers

If Wusoq uses a third-party payment provider, cancellations and refunds may also be subject to the payment provider’s terms, procedures, and processing requirements.

16. Changes to This Cancellation Policy

Wusoq may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time.

Any updated version will become effective once it is published on this page.

Users are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
